Alright, so i got the rotors from majiktib. i took the rear calipers off, and then tried to take the rear rotors off but im not sure how. the front rotors just come off once the calipers are off, but the rears are still stuck. how do i take the rear rotors off a 2001 tib?

are there 2 screws holding the rotors on? If so, take them out. I had to dremel mine off when I first put my rims on... just cut the heads off and it was easy after that. You might just have to pull harder wink.gif

other than that, I'm not sure :? sorry

yah i cut those 2 screws long ago too when i got my first set of rims. so all i need to do is pull hard on the rear rotor and it SHOULD come off rite? there isn't anything else i need to take off or unscrew?

the rear rotors are a biatch to get off the hub, they rust together (rotor and hub) you will need a lot of elbow grease. the shop that did my rear brakes, took the rear rotors off in pieces, with a torch.

good luck

maybe the salt from the ocean has caused rust. I was thinking since you were in sunny california that you wouldn't have a problem, but I didn't take into consideration salt in the air.

You may have a bit of rust... I know Tibby01 had a bit of trouble with his rusted rotors!
...searching old site for pics....
Edit:
I know there are more pics, but this is the only one I could find.
Notice the BROKEN rotor? WHA-BAM! Notice the tools used wink.gif
