Overfilling brake reservior

Can overfilling the brake reservoir to the point where its all the way to very top hurt anything? I know its a stupid question but on some cars, putting too much brake fluid in can in fact harm the braking system. I didnt know if the same happened on Hyundais.

Not on my car. The cap ain't tight enough to contain the pressure in the cylinder, so it'd just spill out under the cap. Why would you ever fill it to the top and leave it? That's just stupid.

There's a "max" level line on the reservoir for a reason.

Brake fluid expands with heat, so it has to have a place to go.
