Default Need some better and more durable tires

I recently had a 3rd Goodyear tire replaced due to sidewall bubbles in less then a year.

I know that having higher profile tire lessens the chance of bubbling. I'm running a 205/45/16 size.

Are there any particular brands or tire models that have a stronger sidewall and are more durable than the Goodyears I had?

well as much as i hate them, runflat tires typically have a very very strong sidewall

although most sidewall bubbles are due to impact, so my first advice would be to quit running into sh*t

buy something with a 400+ rating. it will reduce traction some (not great for avoiding accidents) but you'll have hard tires. Anything close to that should be okay.

Also make sure the shop you go to mount them correctly.

treadwear does NOT equal sidewall strength hkc and is an arbitrary number
