be careful when you have people put tires on, the centercaps like to break and cost i think $15 a piece .... ouch

CyberShark 03-09-2005 01:19 PM

Those will look good on the Tib once they're on.

Sparticus 03-09-2005 01:22 PM

WOW. i really like those!

that was the first thing i said when the image loaded. "wow"

how much a piece?

REDZMAN 03-09-2005 02:51 PM

Ehhh, they look good, but 17's?

Yuck.

LOL

Questions.

1. How much each and then shipped?

2. How heavy?

3. How's the roads where you drive?

UltraTibby 03-09-2005 02:54 PM

Only bad things about 17x7 is no SCCA sanctioned AutoX, 6.5" width is the largest you can go 02.gif

They don't look too bad. I never was into the split-rim type look. They should look pretty decent. At least you didn't buy gunmetal. Eww. (Laughs at Roller's car when it was primered with the black rims).

Maybe take them out ?

Sparticus 03-09-2005 05:32 PM

the center caps prolly break when they put the wheels on the balancer...

this is how we all do it... the tech will leave the center cap on the rim. put his right hand in front of it and put it on the balancer. the center post of the balancer just pops the cap out. its quick and easy, but yes it can break 'em. my stock one broke once. but oh well. got it replaced for free.
