Measured them today on a scale. They are a little less than 14 lbs.

Incredible savings for a +3 upsize.

it looks clean to me good job

they are light weight too

if you really want to check for cracks in them later,

use the folling teq

eddy current

or

NDT = X-Ray them my dad did this for 30 years and let me tell you all it is cool shit

Those wheels look nice and it's good you found some that are light weight. The larger diameter wheel will still hurt you but not was bad as if they were heavier.

why would larger rims hurt his car? with 205/40/17 he'll be at exactly the same tire/wheel ratio and stock and it will still be lighter.

Oh no!!


I didnt think about the Captive/ Non Captive Rotor problem.

Any idea what I should do? I don't know anything about this topic so Im not sure if the rims will fit.

If someone can explain/ help, I'd be grateful.

I have a late 98 Tib with rear discs.

Please help
