Lowering springs help!

Can anyone with lowering springs tell me how you install them or do you have to take the car in to a shop to have it done?
My other cars never had coil over suspension.
What kind of price am I looking at to have these installed if neccesary?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're not mechanically inclined, have a shop do it for you.

I was quoted $200 at a local speed shop to install.

$200????? They're trying to rip you off buddy. It's only a 2 hr job at most!!! Average labor is about $50-$60. You shouldn't pay more than $120.

(Pls note that these are Canadian funds also)

I've rebuilt a chev 350 but I've never looked at the suspension on the Tib.
I just ordered the springs tonight so I can't go look because it is dark.

I had a set of B&G springs put in and Midas charged $160 to have them done and If I where you unless have have the machinery don't even think of trying it by yourself, you most likely would do more harm than good to your car its wirth at most the couple hundered to get it done right the first time.

This is the most reputable shop in my area. I'd rather pay a little extra and get it done correctly by folks who modify imports for a living than let Cooter do it for $50 bucks. :D Alignment included.

Hoot,
You are paying $80 x-tra for someone to say they know imports. Springs are fairly simple and not too much a decent mechanic will fvck up. Now if it is $200 inc allignment then that aint bad. Shop around $80 can buy more performance.
