i have a chance to buy the H&R cup kit that drop 2.0front and 1.7rear at realy cheap price i was wondering if anyone had pic of this set-up drop ??

because i saw picture of tib with eibach spring and there is a bit of wheel gap left but really not much so i'm wondering with a 2" inch drop what it would look like..... i don't really like cars with the tire inside the fender...

need to take some pics of the ride stance on my car, never have since the install. but i will tell you i used to hate driving this car to my friends house in northern K.C. . after the install my body liked riding in the seats alot more and it seemed to soak up the bumps way better also. i cant remember exactly but i think i paid 785 total with shipping for everything, install was done at my job.

h&r cup kit has a really nice drop, but may be too much if you get a low body kit in the future.

personally, if i ever had a tib again, i would get a set of NEX coilovers.. full adjustability on height, and according to a few members with them, they handle alot better than stock. and they are like 600$.

if you really want top of the line, i would get some ksports. i think thats the best made for tibs, not sure though.

Well, I've had the following combos on my tibs.

1. RD1 = Eibach Springs / KYB Dampers. Great setup, but not my favorite.

2. RD2 = HKS Hard Rated Springs / Eibach dampers. Oh my lord, my ride is smooth as the day is long, nice and stiff, corners like a b****.

KSports, while they look nice, have had several members in the Hyundai community and elsewhere get very angry about them because of poor quality and poor customer service.

I'd look at the NEX for some coilovers, or take up KFXPerformance.com on their offer for test fitting and testing of the coilovers they hvae for the RD. There are some other VERY good brands out there, just hard to find in the US. Mad John should know some of the better setups available in the world.

man i love that drop...just dont know now if my gt and sides will be to low to the ground...but whatever i like my setup

wow you paid 875.00 3 years ago and dont know if the prices drop or what cause you can get these 622.00 plus shipping which is not much, cause tirerack will tell you what warehouse they are in and hopefully the closet one is in you region...guess you paid for arm and leg for shipping to puerto rico...

^^ Shipping to Puerto Rico cost the same as mainland US, at least USPS is. It's just Ebay sellers that ripoff Puertoricans with outrageous shipping costs. Like they where shipping to another country. dunno.gif

On a side note. I think I'm going with B&G springs 1.75 F/R. They have an autobahn kit that lowers 2.5 F/R. I'm temped but my struts most likely won't hold up that extreme drop.

While I know what you are talking about, Puerto Rico IS a whole different country.

Until they become a state, they always will be, protectorate/territory, whatever, they are a different country.
