I searched the forums and decided on the Eibach Pro-kit for my 2001 Tib. Since it's only a 1.2" drop and my wife uses the Tib as a daily driver. Then I read that the Eibach Pro-kit sags to 1.5" instead of 1.2"
My question is does these other springs sag too? I can't seem to find out any info on the Vogtland Sport Spring 1.4" or H&R Sport 1.6"F 1.5"R Both the Vogtland and H&R springs are found cheaper on ebay so if their drop stays as advertised I rather buy one of them. |
I wouldn't say SAG, that makes it sound like they are shit. The drop in height is on purpose.
The Eibachs are just fantastic. If I didn't have my HKS springs, I'd have bought those. |
Brand new they will drop the specified amount. But after a little time it becomes a tiny bit lower and this is what people call "sag" in springs.
My B&G springs are awesome on my auto. If I didn't have snow half the year here I would put them on my 5spd T_T |
I always just heard it called seating, or wearing in.
Sag just sounds so... I dunno. LOL |
eibach. When I bought mine on e-bay they were advertised as 1.6" drop. They now say 1.2" drop on all ads i found on the internet.
They come with a 1,000,000 mile warranty. |
i got eibach springs as well and love them...
if i did not got those i would have gotten the h&r springs with the 2.0 drop in front and 1.75 in back |
i purchased the AeroSpeed springs w/ 2" drop on ebay years back and man are they the best no drag or bouncing i would prefer the AeroSpeed Lowering Springs
|
I don't think eibach makes the 1.5 drop springs anymore, just 1.2 so they should be good. I have H&R springs w/ the 1.6/1.5 drop and I love them.
|
im pretty sure they ONLY ever made the 1.2/1.2 pro-kit. some sites did list them wrong as a 1.5" though.
|
I have Vogtland springs and I LOVE them. feels almost like stock. not too low and not to high.
And I haven't noticed any sag at all. 1.4" F/R, I personally preferred a little more drop in the front. |
