I changed out my suspension this weekend. I got some Eibach springs on eBay from a seller who had them on the shelf for some time and I got brand new KYB GR-2 struts from a seller on eBay also. I went ahead and bought new strut mounts all around just for piece of mind but I would say that it's not necessary. I have 8 years and about 130,000 miles on my car and the struts didn't show any real signs of wear.

Anyways I just figured I would post pictures since I took some, sorry if the quality is not great

Before

After

I wasn't really trying to lower my car, I just wanted new suspension because mine was in pretty bad shape. The difference is incredible. My car rides so smooth now. I take a very sharp ramp off the Turnpike every morning that has been pitched so that your car will turn with the road. Usually my car is really loose in this turn so I go pretty slow, about 35 MPH which is what the yellow sign says. Today I hit it at a much faster and possibly unlawful speed with no body roll or pull. The car just glided around the circular ramp with no hesitation!

very nice.. drop looks good.. now finish your car. tongue.gif

i remember the first day i got my eibach/kyb installed. i went down to ohio to have dweet help me (i was a total n00b back then)

a curve i usually took that i could hit 60mph (had 50mph yellow sign) without feeling worried my car was gonna slide off the road, i hit same curve at like 90 and was planted to the road, prob coulda gone faster but i didn't wanna go any faster.

its not the BEST combo, but i sure liked it, VERY comfortable and great handling at the same time.. also can't beat the price.

LOL! I know man, it seems like the body really is taking me forever. And it is. But in the mean time I have cleaned my engine bay and rebuilt my head so that I have no leaks anymore. I also had this as a on the side project car and wasn't driving it. Now that I am you can expect that I will knock out the body work as soon as I get up to VA. I think I even have a paint hook up!

Feels great doesn't it? Theres a ramp very similar to that on my route home. The "suggested speed" (yellow sign) says 30km/h....I routinely hit it around 60-70km/h and feel very little roll in the car, nor do I hear the bumper scraping.

Do you have strut bars or anything else done to the suspension?

nice drop.. I have the eibachs too but with the agx as I mentioned before, it has improved my ride quality big time..I have had mine fore alittle over a year now and love them, I hope you will too.. also mine "settled" just a little but it was hardly noticable.
