I haven't driven the car for about 4 months anyway, but I'm about to get it all legal again so I need non busted SS brakes lines, what was that company called again? Thanks guys.

wtf? i had one of my front ones bust, but i did get a replacement. i think its cause i screwed up installing them though, and did not give equal slack on either side of that one mount. it slowly wore away at the silicon coating, and then got to the braided part. |

Well, they aren't answering my emails, so I don't know how I can take care of it for you. I was supposed to run a GK GB for him like 5 months ago but when I asked him what I was gonna get out of it, they never replied again. I'll get that sent to you, let me figure out how much that was I need to pay. |
I still haven't installed mine. I have them all sitting right here. Should I even bother?

I just had mine installed right before Christmas. I have noticed less pedal travel. It's great!
No problems so far. I'll absolutely be checking for blue fluid now though. Good thing I have plenty extra! smile.gif Thanks for the heads up. |
Java, put them on and just watch them for a few weeks.
Out of the like 150 pairs we sold in that GB, I've heard of maybe 5 single line failures. |
i would definately put them on. its highly unlikely that:
1. they will even burst at all, and 2. that if they do, you wont be able to control your car. when my front one broke, i still had to drive like 15 miles total. just take your time, allow plenty of stopping distance, and you should be fine. it seems the problem with these is not the pressure causing it to burst, but rather wear from the little metal brackets they give you scrapping away at the line due to suspension travel. you just might have to pump your brakes a couple times, and maybe assist with the ebrake a bit. |
