Anyone using 17/18s on LC accent ?
If so what size wheels/offset ect
|
I have had everything from 13's to 18's on my LC2. Stay away from 18's unless it is purely for show, and 17's will significantly hinder your performance.
18's need fenders rolled and some things trimmed out of the way to fit without rubbing. 18's https://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f...s/Toyrun02.jpghttps://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f6/187sks/Rice.jpg 16's https://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f...ccent/PS02.jpg |
I reped you. Thanks.
I want those. http://www.rimstyle.com/products/whe...o/xlarge/1.jpg But im not sure how they will look. I was using old Style TSW (15") They look alittle small and Someone stole my wheel center caps because they sell for like $50 each. http://i49.tinypic.com/elbd04.jpg |
15's look great with a 1" drop. IMO 15's are the right sized wheel for an Accent.

Will my stock shocks start to leak if i drop it lower ?
it sits even higher now then in the picture because the 1.3 is back in vs 2.0 May just see if i can get second hand nos kit. Hell engine only as 20k on it. Should be strong enough. |
I think them look different too.

Your shocks won't leak any faster if you lower it
However, if you lower it on some stiff springs and keep your original shocks, the ride becomes pretty much undamped and you'll be bouncing all over the place. I call it the rice bounce. |
^That.
