These are pics I just took of my buds Tib, he used to live in Seoul Korea, and now lives in Canada. He picked this strut bar up in Korea in 2000. We were looking through some Korean tuner mags he had and is going to check if he can still get ahold of this item. What do you guys think?laugh.gif

It would be nice if we could finally get a strut to go with the AR. I'd buy one

im not a big fan of the design... :?

It looks like it will work though.. if it clears the top portion of the AR...

with that style bar, IMO it should also be bolted to the firewall. Hell, its right there anyways.

It just looks like it would flex too much to me. Still an improvement over not having a bar, though.

If anything the design should have two bars surrounding the Air Ram. Provides for a much stiffer strut bar stabilization as well.

yeah design wise it's def an improvement, but it does look kinda flimsy IMO. Maybe if it was beefier.

Would it work better if it bolted to the firewall???

I agree, it looks like it would flex too easily.

Yes, b/c you are basically taking all the flex out of the middle section of the bar and placing it on the two short angled sections. Which should be very stiff w/ VERY little, IF ANY, flex.

something similar to this I think would be the best solution :
