I looked at it and figured it out one time, but don't remember. I think I figured I would pull it with a slide hammer.

Ok so the bearings are out on both knuckles. Took about 3000-3500lbs according to the gauge on the press before the bearings started to come out. Floyd I think a slide hammer is out of the question, lol. So I have a quick job in Chico tomorrow and I should be back in town early enough for a trip over to Applied Industried and have them match up some bearings.

This is probably minor but the Accent hub will leave the rotor off center, throwing the rotor 0.75mm towards the outside. This also means of course that the indide is moving in the same. Its such a tiny amount so the question is does it even mattter?

I don't think you'll have trouble with the rotor sitting .75mm towards the outside.

Went over to hyundai performance last night and did some hunting. Found a post that stated the lc hub will press into a 2000 elantra knuckle assembly cause they use the same bearing. Gunna look into this further, this might be the knuckle to use.

Ok I have assembled my LC hub into a 99 Elantra knuckle/spindle and it fits great. Took some better measurements on the hubs and the Accent hub hangs out 1mm further then the Elantra hub. For an XD elantra to work you will need a bearing with the outside dimension and width of the XD and inside diameter of the LC bearing, im not gunna pursue this route. The 2 elantra knuckles look the same other then the bore sizeand abs sensor spot, ill compare them better tomorrow. Now its time to get my hands on some 11 inch rotors and Tib GT calipers and see how they mount.

Awesome progress. Let me know when you compare the knuckles and I'll change the DIY.
