Wondering how some may feel about this it's 02 wrx suspension it's something we had laying around and I'm wanting them to work on my 99 accent but the tops are off by that much should I try to open the hole or not worth it? I mean k sports are 900 my buddy wants 100 these are full adjustable as well idk how you guys feel

Wow! That is actually really close. I'd say the downfall is you would have to refill the holes and redrill them if you go back to stock.

I would think you would be fine. How many miles are on the used suspension? When you DO have to replace them, how much are they? If they are the same cost as Ksports when it comes time to replace, I would just go with what fits your car honestly and not dick around these.

They cost 500 new my friend said so they're affordable ... But how safe would that be to open that hole

It could throw the geometry off a bit, but if this for a budget racer I fail to see the harm. On a street car though it sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Though if you decide to go this route find out what rebuilding these costs from the manufacturer. Its likely going to be a LOT cheaper than buying new one each time.

I would be waaaay more concerned with how you're bolting it to the knuckle. If you can get that to bolt up without too much work, you'll need to check geometry but it might be able to work.

Inb4 the spring rates are completely out of whack: different leverage ratios between an X3 and a WRX

Inb4 the dampers are irrelevant to an X3

Inb4 harlem fabrication to get them to fit

I would steer clear of this

What are you even aiming to gain by doing this conversion?

the only reason why i want them to work is because when i launch the car the ass squats crazy id love to have it alot stiffer while im launching the car.

Fill the rear springs with tennis balls.
