I'd just like to share an icon I've been idolizing the past months. His name is Tony Palo, owner of T1 Race Developments. He currently holds the fastest FWD Street Class record since October '08 (I dont know if it has been broken already or what). His car is all steel frame and body(save for the bumper and hood.. not sure about the front fenders and hatch) with full interior, all glass windows, no PS and A/C. I think it even has a radio, I don't know if that myth is true. He used slicks and skinnies in acomplishing his 8.9 second run.

Ya, I've seen tons of pics of that car, its a monster. The turbo is the size of a basketball.

just looking at it, the turbo is half the size of the head...freaking insane

I saw a honda with a turbo 1/2 the size of the engine at the NOPI Nationals.

meh, who cares...

not one bit of that car is functional for me, i usually drive farther than a 1/4 mile when i need to go get something.

It looks like a sweet build, and it all flows nicely, but I prefer something that can be a daily driver as well.

FYI, that car is driven every weekend on the street, around town etc. Obviously not with the skinnies and slicks, but its not just a track monster.

can you legally drive in the streets with those big ass slicks?
