<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>If you’re passing through Oklahoma and you think you can just speed through the state without any chance of getting run down from behind, think again. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has a little surprise for you, a Suzuki Hayabusa Police Interceptor, all nice and shiny and black and radar equipped. The OHP is set to get special training at the California Superbike School. Better slow ‘er down boys.</div>

Now they just need to turbo it and put a extended swing arm and drop it down a bit, and they would have no problems catching any car. lmao.gif

Gee, cause that isn't dangerous as crap. Wouldn't it be a lot smarter (and safer) to put them in fast cars?

Mad_john 01-26-2007 08:53 AM

highway honkeys ahhhhLOL

And if someone really wants to get away, they just sideswipe the motorcycle and call it a day...

Thats the plus for the big police cruisers, they got a lot of weight so they don't get pushed around.

I do agree on the how easily it could be to take the bike out.

But in the cases like here in AZ there are alot of bikes that are able to out run a normal police bike and cruiser. With this they wouldn't have a chance to escape.

yea im sure it really wouldnt be the primary vehicle for a car chase... thats what helicopters are for.... but alot of bikes do get away from speed traps. I've talked to a couple cops that have mentioned that they just wont chase a bike if its going over 120 past a speed trap... its nearly impossible, that hayabusa would definitely solve that problem.

They actually have two. The first one was from a drug bust and the second was bought with money from a drug bust. They were intended to give the sport bikes something to think about before they run. We lost a Highway Patrolman in a high speed chase when he lost control of his crusier trying to catch a sport bike that was doing over 120.

nice bike... lost it at 120? ehh poor driver or mechanical failure of car. I dont trust cops, they're always doin somethin shady where I live. the other night I was at my buddies house, and 3 cop cars were outside pulling someone over... 3!!!, we stood out and watched it, they let him go with a warning to slow down then proceeded to stand there and talk for a few minutes. Then they all get in their car and one lines up next to the other one on the on coming lane and then both floor it while the other one does a 180 in the middle of the street and peels off after them... thats one of the many nutcase cop stories I have... again, I dont trust cops, still a nice bike tho laugh.gif
