Congrats man! I love those cas and wanted one at some point smile.gif

WS6 for $22,000? Was it brand new???

hamhead 12-05-2006 10:24 PM

Yeah, that is pretty expensive for a WS6, good idea not to buy it... it would have to have like less than 5k miles on it for anyone to dream of paying that.

nice motor but I think I would have gone a little bit more and got the saturn sky red line

'treezy 12-06-2006 08:37 AM

get the hard top, ASAP! s2000's look rediculous with the convertable top, when it's up. Plus you'll save weight! wink1.gif

and I hope you didn't spend your last penny on it, cause modding one of those is ridiculous. Every part made for that car in comparison with our is 3-4 times the cost.

Good God man! A Sky Redline isn't a little bit more, it's more like $17k more!

Patreezy - Well, I'm not gonna start modding right off the bat. And that was about 65% of the money I had in my bank acct. Also, I'm gonna sell the Tib, all the parts I have lying around the house, and the extreme turbo kit I bought from Viper966 (once I actually get it). So I'm estimating all that will get me about $9k.

if you know how to tune, and have a compatible laptop ...the AEM UEGO Wideband is all you need, get it now and you will have plenty of fun with a stock NA s2000.

SOCKS_old 12-06-2006 01:07 PM

ya, an N/A stock tuned s2000 is nuts, lol.. no need to even mod it for a while.. shit, i wouldnt even mod it.. id just keep the tib..

optimoprime 12-06-2006 04:52 PM

i agree, just tune the s2k and keep the tib. plus its allways better to have more then one car, u just never know...

Mister_Sinister 12-06-2006 06:17 PM

Unfortunately, I can't afford to insure the S2k and the Tib. Thus, the Tib must go. But hey, I'll probably be getting the 09 Tib (or whatever year the redesigned Tib is gonna be) when it comes out.

undacovatib 12-08-2006 06:25 AM

haha, you were just talking about getting one of these in the other thread. You Traitor....me too though.

You said you are going to wait a while before modding, good move....do a bunch of research in the meantime. Look into the Vortech set-up, i have herd good things about these and they tend to help the "torque-less" wonder s2000.
