thanks for somehow sharing my excitement on running this car. anyway, some updates:

car is running now, but still needs alot of minor things to be done. engine bay is quite dirty and messy, and ac lines still needed. suspension is junk, but its ok for now. interior is still missing some quality parts. time to break in the rings! clap.gif

@mwood: thanks smile.gif

@lilo: yeah I know, but I've always preferred OEM looks that's subtly modified by various parts here and there. (just like my tib before, which I really miss these days 02.gif )

just thought I'd share some pics I took along with my EK.

my father's two month old E55:

(with the rest of his toys): 480hp Evo V, 350hp R32 GT-R (estimated hp only) and his E55.

Very sexy cars. I love it. I'm so jealous of my boss's Mercedes. He has 2. A G55 and a CLS. Very nice.

^^ I think the new Direct Injection small engines that are coming out will change your mind.

New Tiburon's 1.6L 140HP Direct injection.. WOW!!!

I know they look nice, but as for older 90's engines, you would need a b20 to really compete.

b20/v-tec actually, or all the other frankenstiens. my buddy's b20/v-tec should be done for this summer, 243whp n/a on pump gas, in a ITR. should be a good match vs his 08 WRX that is modded.

but b16's are better for higher rev if you want to rev to 9k plus. my bro in law used to be built ls/v-tec and his redline was at 9,600 rpm, that thing was a beast.

Managed to wire some minor accessories like lights horn radio etc etc plus more of the minor interior bits have been bought and put already along with the Daiyama coilover. Car only ran 150km since the first start. Everything is still fine, managed to rev it to 8000rpm already in 1st to 3rd gear while running super rich on the top end lol. Noticed that the car was quite noisy without the sound deadening stuff, which is unfortunate since I still want this to be a comfortable car. Also planning on changing the junk Spoon copy seats with thickly paded ones (I think I might get a good deal on a set of Bride Cugas tongue.gif) Here are a few pics:

I can't wait for the summer vacation to start so I can dedicate most of my time and efforts on this car!
