I just got some new pics of the Honda, with very minimal progress though. I had used Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 tires for the car. Also bought some missing plastic panels and minor exterior stuff, though most are not installed yet as of the meantime.

I just also closed a deal on a B18C Type-R Engine with 4.4 LSD transmission, just so I can enjoy the car a bit before going turbo (which should be done maybe by December, with income being very slow).

Here are the pics as promised:

the engine bay with all the necessary wiring and brake hardware. all that's missing is the AC lines, shifter linkages and of course the engine and transmission

well made some progress in the EK finally.

bought a whole DC2 Integra Type-R front cut as it will be much cheaper in the long run:

so finally a B18C5 Motor with a 4.4 LSD Transmission will be put in place in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping that tearing down the motor and all the machining won't take long.

along with this, I'll be using the following items which should arrive in a couple of weeks... (I guess this will really be the final spec of this car)

4AGZE Pistons 81mm
Magnitude Connecting Rods
ARP Headstuds
Z-Speed Valvetrain
Precision 850cc Injectors
GT35R sized turbo (bushing type only.. had bad experiences in terms of longetivity with ball-bearing types)

some items from the Tiburon, as mentioned before, will be used again.

more pics of the car (with high as hell stock suspension, still no engine inside)
had some minor stuff completed inside and out as well.

will update soon

long due update

parts have arrived!
4AGZE pistons
ARP Headbolts
IB Spec 'Magnitude' Rods
Blox Block Guard

installed the Blox block guard then got the block back from the machine shop for honing. also got back the rods for re-bushing for the 4AGZE piston pins to fit. then finished off the assembly the entire engine, along with replacing some parts with OEM ones.

body is still sitting... almost 2 years not running 02.gif(

Even though I hate Honda's, I must say that you have a nice one. I like it when people take junkers and turn them into something really nice.

Hondas are nice financially. They do good gas mileage with no mods and if you want to put on a turbo, it could cost as little as 1k to do it.
Really, I don't like the small engines that they use though. They like their 1.6 and 1.8 litre engines. Seems too small for me.

Especially if you get an ebay turbo kit that bolt ons. There is so much aftermarket. I don't think anyone could count the number of honda aftermarket forums/communities. I only know of RDT, HP, NewT and HA for hyundais.

The car is coming along great. Can't wait to see it running.

^^ I think the new Direct Injection small engines that are coming out will change your mind.

New Tiburon's 1.6L 140HP Direct injection.. WOW!!!
