going 11:1 compression, manley ultra lite rods, stage 2 cams, aem cam gears, bdl 70mm tb, katana big manifold(trying to go for itb's if we can), dc sports headers n exhaust, injen cai, act stage 2 clutch, hks spark plugs, magnacore wires, 390cc injectors, hondata s300, and maybe some spray. should be good enough all motor in the 12's.






got more pics but photobucket is taking forever. i'm doing the build with my buddy that owns the car helping.

Looks nice. I have to come up to the track by you when mine is finally ready. By the end of season for sure. My brother has a turbo MR2 that he will bring also. fing02.gif

make sure you get some arp studs for the top and bottom end. also change you mains/rods bearding and make sure you set you oil clearances.. if not you will lock it up....trust me...

Looks like you need to be very careful with the valve clearances as well, especially with the high comp pistons and possibly larger valves?

so the lastest update is we're now boring it over to a 2.0 n/a hopefully able to achieve 230+ whp. KingMotorSports is doing the build. they recently did a build on a n/a type R pushing 245 whp, that's a bore over to 2.0.

this is the type R they tuned this summer n/a bored to a 2.0L, we're going with a similar set up but using different name parts.

so the type r in the video i posted just got jacked a couple weeks ago by some minnesota guys. Dudes from Wausau and they found the car in Minnesota stripped a long with a hatchback that the guy has. Three weeks ago he ran it at Rock Falls and two weeks after it got jacked and this dude spent 12k in the motor.
