1. How did you get into the Hyundai scene?
It wasn’t planned. I Bought the car because it has a great warranty and I needed something to save me on gas. Living in California and being only 20 years old at the time it makes it hard
to have a car driven mostly by older women or girls who are still with permits. So I decided to “man” it up a bit. Ive seen Honda’s and even the Mini Cooper S with forced induction and
just fly on small 1.6 engines, done right who’s to say my Accent can’t?
2. What has been your best accomplishment with the car?
Doing all the engine work myself.
3. Where do you see yourself in the immediate and long term future with the car?
My goal is 200-230 whp or 14 psi which ever comes first. Then depending on how long it lasts I might swap in a stronger engine and transmission.
4. Thanks and Props:
All my friends and family. Every idea I have had I have run by them to get their outsider view points.Brian Dawson at Fujita, hes been a real help with all my intake piping and engine
tunning.I would be lost with out that guy. Even all those guys out there who talk nothing but trash about me “wasting money on junk”, cause with out them I wouldn’t have anything to prove
to people with a wrong idea about Hyundai’s. Of course who can forget all of you guys! With out the friends I’ve made here at Hyundai Aftermarket, I wouldn’t
have been able to do, nor thought to have done 3/4 of what Ive done to my car. Thanks to 187sks, Hyundaiturbo14b, wytchdr, wilburisthecoolest, ryanolsen, krazymikegt, zeroindiego,
steingrabber and any others I might have forgotten….you know what you did and who you are.
