Default Upgrading door speaker wires

I received a new set of component speakers for my doors during Christmas and they will be running off a 4 channel amp. Can I still use the factory wiring that goes through the doors now or do I have to upgrade the wiring when using high powered components?

You'll get mixed responses. I used the stock wiring and everything sounds great! I'm running ED nine.4 pushing 75 watts rms to each speaker.

I never upgraded my factory wiring when I had my RD and I was running Polk components in it. In the Genesis, I'm running Kickers all the way around and still kept the factory wiring. No issues and everything sounds great.
