Wood floor in the Genesis. I'm having the Genesis wing logo cut out of sheet metal either tomorrow or Tuesday, so that will be added soon. I'll update with pics once it's in.

Very cool! I like it! Unique, something you don't see everyday.

Looks awesome. This is something I've been wanting to do forever. If you dont mind me asking, how much did it cost for the materials and was it hard to put the wood in?

It's really really easy to do. I went to Mr 2nd's and bought an entire box of the wood for only $15. It clicks together and holds pretty good. It's actual hardwood and not laminate stickers.

1. You remove your trunk liner that covers the spare tire

2. Lay out 7 or 8 pieces of the wood and put it all together

3. Lay the liner on top and then trace all around it with a marker

4. Cut each piece of wood with a jig saw or dremel (jig is easier and faster)

5. Put the trunk liner back in and lay each piece of wood on top until complete

Did it all in about 30-40 min.

Okay I have to oppose. Home Depot Made in China wood floor panels belong in houses and living rooms. Not in cars man.

Wanna buy a mop to go with it mang? LOL .

They have tons of cool rubber or plastic cargo trays for the Genesis. I'd pick up one of those and call it a day. But not wood floors mang.

Groceries sliding around and falling out of the bags might be slightly irritating...

How much class are you wanting to add? Woodgrain vinyl wrapped interior panels? Woodgrain wrapped exterior panels?

Classy

Who in the world uses their car for groceries?

Seriously, it's just for show. I drive the car maybe 2 or 3 days a week at the very most. It doesn't see rain or any bad weather at all, and the wood trunk is just something to give it a little extra when parked at a meet or show somewhere.
