What are the 'must do's' when you get a Santa Fe diesel?

What are the 'must do's' when you get a Santa Fe diesel?
Are there any annoying chimes and whistles that everyone immediately disconnects, would you automatically put on another pre-fuel filter on the diesel.
One of the best things that I did to my Hilux was jump the relay so that I could put the windows up and down while switched off.
Would the turbo diesel benefit from an oil catch can? Anything else you can think of?
