That doesn't seem weak to me? It's up 80hp on the 2JZ and that's the base version. It's competing against the 370Z, Camaro, and Mustang. Seems pretty reasonable to me.

Weak or not will depend on the price. It has Mustang GT power. If it has a Mustang GT price, that's good. If it has a Corvette Z06 price, that's very, very bad.
