In my opinion, there isnt any difference between using a leaf blower and what the dryers at a car wash are. So what do you guys think about doing this?

Too loud. Car wash time for me is chill and quiet. Aside from the possibility of ingesting something small and shooting it at your car at high speed, same as if you were driving the car, there's no real risk IMO. Do whatever works for your routine.

I use my 30gallon air compressor sometimes. Mostly to dry the engine bay before closing the hood. All you hear is a the hiss.
