yamaha tried to but it was beyond saving. the thing was poorly setup and wouldve been cheaper to rebuild another than to fix the garbage they did.



it had blocks of 1/3 box tubing welded to the body as a motor mount and used a radiator overflow bottle as the second gas tank

Parted out RD… and give it to my sister… bought Sonata 3.3V6

Everything OEM, and didn’t have any problems. My setup was OEM ECU + piggy + dual rail and just one day for no reason it started to go on 8000rpm

On stock camshaft setup it really doesn’t have any point reving it so high because it was actually slower if I rev it to 8000rpm then to shift on 7000rpm
