How many people on here still drive and play around with LC Accents?

Default How many people on here still drive and play around with LC Accents?

Hi guys, first post here... Just wondering how many on here still own and drive an LC Accent?

I had an 2001 model I bought back in early 2003 and had it for years and had a lot of fun with it and still have great memories of it, I have had a couple of other cars since but now I want buy another one as a daily driver and to have a bit of fun with.

So I am interested to see who is still driving them and what you have done to them.

Theres still quite a few people with them. In fact, most people at some point look into Beta swapping them too. One of the best modifications you can do to an Accent, other than suspension stuff.

If I had the room, I'd buy back my 96 Accent GT and Beta swap it.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah suspension is definitely on the top of the list of things to do, to be honest if I couldn't upgrade the sway bars and suspension I wouldn't even consider buying another Accent. After looking around on the net it seems anything after market for them is nigh on impossible to find or buy now. I kept all the good bits off my old Accent and have had them gathering dust for the past 6 years so it isn't going to be an expensive endeavour I just need to find another nice unmessed with LC1 GS Accent to bolt it all onto. I will be checking one out on the weekend so will see how that goes.

The Beta swap is something I really wanted to do on the last one but I never got around to it. I know a lot of guys over here used to talk about doing it but from memory I can't recall anyone ever doing it but it is something I would like to look into the possibility of doing eventually.

I think most Accent owners make their way here at some point or another. There's a lot of really good information here that you wont get anywhere else.

Still drive my Accent 1996 model. For tuning purposes, can somebody tell me the DWELL ANGLE applicable for this car?
