dual bottle set up
When running a dual bottle setup do you run both bottles open or one closed and the other open? Curiosity is getting the best of me about this.

Without knowing much about the specifics of automotive nitrous oxide installation, but having dealt with pressurized gas cylinders before... it wouldn't matter either way unless there are rules about it where you are racing that day.
If there are no valves between them, the pressure between the bottles will equalize. You'd have a longer time running on the gas before losing pressure. If there were one-way check valves to prevent pressure equalization between bottles, the bottle with higher pressure would supply the line until the pressures equalized.
