Default Removing caliper paint

Anyone got a good trick to removing old caliper paint? Mine are looking pretty bad from when I painted them a long time ago. I'd like to strip them and apply a fresh coat of black paint instead of the ricey red paint that's on them now.

Or a wire wheel. or a steel brush, or sandpaper. The application isn't all that special, it's just paint.
