-3DB
When I got my front component set installed a year ago the shop didn't know how to tune the headunit so they set the crossover box to -3db
Was thinking about removing my door panels this weekend and setting it back to zero (fixed the headunit issue, speakers sound great now).
How much of a difference would 3db be if I switched it ? (would I clearly be able to tell the difference between -3db and 0 ?).

3dB is a difference most people will be able to barely notice when given an A/B comparison. You will maybe notice a little if you listen critically.
