car wont start = timing belt?
hi guys so few days ago my car refused to start now the night before this happened my car was struggling to start took few times but it drove good once it was running but now wont start, now this is what confusing me cause i took my car in for a service last month and he said my timing belt wasn't that good or something or needed to be replaced so could this have something to do with my car not starting? i also went out and bought a new battery but had no effect and my car can be jump started also so dunno if it is the timing belt but the guy said it needs to be replaced soon so maybe i should fix it anyway but i dunno if its the reason my car refuses to turn over thanks

Not sure what you're saying is happening... Does it crank and not start, or does it not crank? If it cranks, does it sound normal, or does the engine spin really fast, like there's no compression?

That could mean lots of things. When you turn the key, does nothing happen? Do you hear a click, and nothing else? Does the starter turn the motor over and it just doesn't fire? If the starter turns the engine over, does it sound normal or does it sound like it's spinning really fast as if there's no compression?
