Rare Steering Wheel RD1
In addition to the 1.6L seats that I've finally secured and the seat heater switches, I've also managed to save this elusive gem from being scrapped
It's got no airbag and no leather which is a bummer but it's very light-weight.

Nice find!
I want those seats!
When are you going to put all those parts on the car and take some nice photos?

Thanks Jon if you find them they're on most 1.6L first gen British Hyundai Coupe but you have to find it from a salvage.
Well, I wish that were the case too. My Tiburon is in the States and I've been working in Poland so everything I have is back home. Shipping the seats alone was like $500.00 but only because the rear seat wasn't small enough to carry on. I could have paid less but that would have meant more trips. Crazy huh. But that's the price for passion. I'm glad. I gave them a good rubdown with meguiars.
I have to install the heaters. That's the big thing because of the wiring. I also have to get a new coat of paint and throw the F2 wing on. I also want some Bilstein struts from tirerack.com but they will be $600.00. Oh and I am purchasing the wide body kit all at the same time.
I also bought some leather seats for the Elantra Touring. Gave them a good scrub with Meguiars leather cleaner but I haven't installed them either for the same reason.

Nice. Thanks for posting. Those of us too busy/broke/whatever to work on cars enjoy following your updates even if it's not directly working on the cars.

I'm completely broke. I owe "some" money and there won't be a vacation this summer for sure but all in the name of making dreams come true. Got a hold of the wide body panels It would be nice to get them replicated.

There's definitely a lot of people still around modding RD's. However, they are getting very rare where I live and we have one of the biggest Hyundai dealers in the nation. I remember Tiburons were everywhere since they were selling so many. Now I'm lucky to see one RD a month. There's 5 RD2's in the local pick n pull with many parts already pulled, but no RD1's in any junkyard. I've called everywhere for a front bumper support bar with no luck.
