Buying a 2013 GC
Well Hello,
It has been along time. I am finally getting back into the car scene. I am going to be buying a GC. I am looking for a white 2013 2.0t. If you know who I am or anything about me you know I have been around and dealt with the crooked H stuff before. Yet this is a new platform for me. Anything I need to look at on a used GC in particular.
I am looking to buy a stock car so I can build it the way I want.
I do not plan on doing a lot. My purpose would be a daily drifter, I don't plan on many power mods, simple bolt on, and a tune.
Most of the mods will be suspention, and steering components.
Anyway build thread to follow.

Sold it for lots of cash in 2012.
That is why I started the Miata build thread.
Now it's time for GC build thread.

GC drag
I fail to see what is "slow".
Thing makes 310whp and 350ft lbs falling to 280ft lbs at redline.
All you need to accomplish this is a tune, Turbo back exhaust and a intake.
The factory FMIC and piping is more than than effcient at handling what ever the factory turbo can supply.
Don't confuse the pre facelift Genesis with the 13 and later. They are two very different cars, when it come to power plants.
HA or I do not entertain street racing, but here is a video from Mexico of a 2.0t 13 GC vs Everything.

Stock 370z 1/4 mile times are 13.3 or below and thats stock N/A car. I love Hyundai , but GC is far from the best in its segment. Hell even the old Mustang GT with 300 bhp is 13.5sec
Yeah GC is slow

The 370Z and Mustang GT do not compete with the 4 banger turbo GC. A 370Z is $30k - $45k depending on the model.
