Yeah, definitely not worth it considering you can do a beta swap pretty cheap these days. But who knows....maybe the guy had the engine laying around and wanted something different or unique and did it in a weekend. Can't imagine he's using a Toyota ECU though, but who knows.

Toyota 4E-FTE engine. It's an upgrade, but not by much.
Also that was done over seas where there the Toyota GT Turbo was actually sold. A waste of time and money unless you have the stuff laying around and the know-how to make that work. Swapping the 1.5L Alpha for the 1.3L Turbo, not sure I'd be able to sign off on that personally.
