Default Clutchnet Clutches

I was just browsing Clutchnet's website and looked up the Tiburon application and noticed their "Stage 3" pressure plate is now rated up to 480 torque. I don't believe this existed before. Anyone try it, or care to?

Interestingly enough, their Eclipse non-turbo plates, rate for 490 torque in case you did the push conversion.

I must also let anyone know that I did have a bad experience with them loooong ago on a custom job. Perhaps they got their stuff together by now.

The ACT is rated for 420tq and was the highest rated until I found Clutchnets page. Assuming they don't exaggerate the claims. In any case, except for the bad machinery they did on my disc, their customer service was actually pretty good. Perhaps when I get to the point where my ACT start slipping, I'll inquire about them putting together a custom piece. They seem to be open to it: "CALL US WE CAN BUILD IT"

What do you think? Give them another try?
