Default X3 Beta Swap

Hi,

X3 newb. I have been reading over a few days now. If someone could link me to a beta X3 comprehensive build thread it would be greatly appreciated. I sense beta swaps for the X3 were popular a decade ago, and information isn't showing up in searches b/c those builds were done to long ago.

I appreciate your assistance and thank you in advance.

Lots of views. Seems there is interest. A build or how to thread would really help. If you agree, please post. thx

Check the Hyundai Hybrids section of the forum. There should be some info in there. Unless you drive a Genesis you're kinda on your own here. No love for the Accent's anymore.

I have looked at most every thread there. Only ran across an LC Beta swap. I bought a 97 GL Accent like this one brand new back then.

I loved my car. Always wanted to mod one. Have my eye on a couple of low milers and will likely pic one up. I guess if there is a will there is a way .

Check out swap threads on www.hyundaiperformance.com too. Not too many new posts on the site but lots of good info.

Buy an X3

Buy a J2 elantra

Buy workshop manuals for both

You may combine engines, transmissions, and wiring as you wish, there are a thousand ways to skin a cat.

I swapped a beta II cvvt into an LC in australia and had a large struggle because none of the american wiring diagrams matched what we had here. Fun!
