Default Cooling fan not coming on

Hi,

I have a 2003 Tiburon with a heating problem. The cooling fan is not coming on and no temperature gauge reading. I have replaced the fan, relays, fuses and temperature sending unit. No go. Any suggestions on what the issue might be?

Thanks in advance

Water pump? Bad radiator? Thermostat? Those could all cause those types of issues.

Do all the rest of the gauges work properly?

Could be a bad "new" temp sending unit. Been there, done that. If its an easy exchange, go get another one to rule that out. Otherwise, I'm sure you could test with a multi meter.

I would think that even with a faulty radiator or thermostat you would get some kind of temp reading. Bad water pump maybe, but I would imagine you would have heard howling or extra noise on that side of the engine prior to this problem.
