dead cluster and climate control lights

Default dead cluster and climate control lights

instrument cluster and climate control lights are not working



replaced a blown fuse to LH Tail light which blew but still no fix



does this mean I blew the dash light potentiometer dash light dimmer? replace?

Do you have a multimeter laying around? You could check to see if where the power cut off is at. I would also check the RH tail light fuse too, but my guess is that it's definitely the dimmer.

Double check all your fuses just to be safe. If you get the gauges working and climate lights are still out, there is a good chance whatever event that took out your fuse also fried your little bulbs in you hvac controls. Has happened to me once or twice while owning my tib.

gauges are working

its a bulb issue.

weather its the dash lights or the climate control it has a light ill problem

i checked yellow power connector no probs there fuses no probs there either

If the dimmer control is disconnected do your dash lights and climate control lights go out?

any help would be appreciated

Ign+ and Ill+ both go through brightness control circuit . . . I'm guessing you need the dimmer in to get dash lights.

replaced the rheostat and it works
