Default Need Help regarding A/C compressor behavior

Hello all! i've been loitering around a bit and i have a problem regarding my elantra j2 (Beta 1 engine). Its regarding the A/C compressor.

Heres how it goes..

Before, the a/c compressor would engage or turn on on a normal engine idle speed. When you hit the throttle, the a/c compressor turns off and the fans stay on, regardless if the compressor engages and disengages. When the engine rpm falls back to its 700-800 rpm range, the a/c compressor turns back on. When air has reached its desired cool temperature, the compressor shuts off automatically. This is its normal behavior.

Time came that i have to replace the old compressor with a new one. The old one is leaking oil or its lubricant. The old one has the brand HCC or Halla Climate Control Corp. The new one i got is branded Sanden Corp, Japanese brand. The specialist replaced it and the compressor is engaging blowing cool air but when i rev it, it stays engaged, does not turn off the way it used to. The service advisor told me that the thermostat or thermistor sensor in the evaporator has been replaced as well. Its annoying that everytime i have to manually turn on/turn off the a/c button when it fact the thermistor or thermostat must be the one doing the job of shutting the compressor off when the desired temp has been reached.

What do you think is the problem here? thank you for your time..

The problem is that you have to go back to the place that did the repairs and demand they fix it right. Politely at first, but if they don't help out say you'll make a fuss. If they don't help you, make a fuss.

edit to add: I hope you manage to have fun on Diego Garcia, or that you are well away from there and just need to update your profile location!

Normal AC control that I am aware of is from the temp sensor on the evaporator. It should cycle the clutch to keep the evaporator above freezing and below 40F. Adding heat to the mix does not make the compressor run more as the heat is added after the evaporator. The compressor will run less actually.

I always run my manual ACs in recirc, witht he temp at the coldest setting and with the fan speed at the lowest setting, once it's cooled off, then just turn the AC on and off but leaving it in recirc and the fan on.
