Who has torque dampers attached to their engines? I found these online at a pretty sick price. Cant decide if I want to get them or not, but I do know my engine has some movement when I'm driving it hard.

I have em on my car and feel they make a big difference in how responsive the car is. But yikes!! 220?!? That seems very steep!

They actually did make them for the rds. Believe the brand was n-ergy or something to that effect.

Here's a better price.....$149.00. May not be the same brand but they all have the same function...

They're not all the same. Ingalls are high quality. Pretty much all the other brands are Chinese junk. Doesn't really matter though. If your motor mounts are good, this is just engine bay jewelry.

Yep, mine are Nrg. The ones Jattus makes are high quality! I know the guy personally who makes them. I've even considered "upgrading" to his kit. But I like mine and does what its suppose to.

And I totally disagree. I have good motor mounts in the Tib and these definitely help keep the engine in place and gets the power to the ground quicker. It was a noticeable improvement in responsivness from the engine.

Then your mounts aren't good. By "good", I don't mean "not broken". If you're not getting the power down, try poly mounts or solid aluminum. I've built many 600+ whp cars with FWD, AWD and RWD and none have ever needed one of these.

Torque Dampers are just bandaids on a somewhat stock motor. If your engine is rocking a lot and you're still NA, then just get new motor mounts.
