for a 2001 Tiburon what lights/bulbs should I expect to buy to replace all instrument cluster lights(gas, coolant tenp, speedo and rpm backlights) ??



I used search function and have found I need 74 73 194 168 bulbs



how many bulbs are needed in all??

So what did you end up needing? I've been thinking about replacing the gauge cluster bulbs with LED's to look more white and less yellow in color. From researching this is what I show a 2001 Tib would need:



4x T10 (or 194) bulbs and 2x T5 bulbs



Was that what you ended up needing to do the whole instrument gauge cluster?

So I replaced all except lights around the outside with Sylvania 168, 74 and they all turned out amber or incandescent

Not the entire instrument cluster only the 6

So trying to piece together your responses...you need 6 "194" bulbs for the instrument cluster lighting only?



What locations take the 74 bulb?

168(4) large black twist lock 74(2) small grey twist lock

i found 74 bulbs go right behind the coolant and gas gauge hands. directly behind them on the back of the instrument cluster

the really small black twist locks are smaller than the grey twist locks that look the same but are smaller by a very small measure
