After some deep consideration...
So, I wanted to use this as an apology for getting people's hopes up...
A few weeks ago my tib died on me. After months of spending every waking moment keeping her going, I had enough. I was frustrated and a little butt-hurt that after all I tried to do to keep my car going. I wanted nothing to do with the car, went out and picked up a mitsu eclipse spyder because, "f##k Hyundai."
Posted the part out and the following Saturday, started to attack the engine bay.
Then the blizzards hit, as well as elongated work days making any attempts at getting parts off the now dead tiburon, incredibly difficult.
Day after day, evening after evening, I would come home, stare at the shell of the car I had put so much effort into. Eventually I started looking at aftermarket parts for the mitsu. Much to the displeasure of my fiance. Trying to put it off as "curiosity", I knew that I was only lying to her and myself.
So I decided that this cannot be how it ends. I'm far too stubborn to just give up on the car. I need to have her running again, under boost. I was just too butt-hurt and angry to conceive repairing the tiburon at that point. So under the permission of my fiance, I am keeping the tib, and bringing her back from death.
Again I apologize for getting people's hopes up in the part out post and hope the people who requested parts can forgive me, as also, those who have sent money have been refunded.

I don't think anybody will be mad that you are reviving your tib and keeping the Hyundai alive; and if they are well they can GTFOn! Good luck on your decision.

I'm right there with you man. I wrecked mine months ago and haven't been able to get it back on the road. I've got nearly everything I need now I need to get it to the shop since some of the work I can't do myself. Funny thing is, is that most of what needs repaired is from sitting.

Finally got the motor pulled after last October's failure. Picked up a trans from pick and pull today, after nuking 2nd gear last year when my throw out bearing popped out and I bent the clutch master cylinder rod.
She is getting back together, albeit slowly.
