Default Oil Restrictor

Hello i am currently rebuilding a Beta 1 engine and i have noticed that it has a oil restrictor at the top of the block, is it worth keeping the ball and spring? if not what difference will it make?

Thanks

If you are using a head with HLAs, keep the restrictor, I think it prevents over-pressurizing the lash adjusters. If you are using a head with solid shims, lose the restrictor
