Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Earlier Mistubishi-based Hyundai Elantras (92-95) are perfect candidates for the popular 4g63t motor swap, which turns the Hyundai Elantra into a real sleeper. One of the biggest reasons I want my wagon is for aesthetics. That said though, all show and no go makes for a very boring car. So shes going to surely get a turbo and some suspension goodies.

My XD2 definitely wasn't slow, I had entirely built the xd2.0 and thrown a modified jattus kit on it, And an antilag compressor. Its been turbo, Now it's N/A and fast, Just not as fast. Haha. Its been lowered, the suspension has been beefed up for autox racing.

Not finished with the looks department atm, maybe re fab some new side skirts , de-badge and loose the roofracks and rear windows but supercharging makes it a bit more fun to drive.
