Theres a regular member here who posts often named Voodoo. He has a Revision A tib in showroom condition with over 200k on the original motor and trans. Dont think anyone here will be able to beat that. lol

^i really don't think so!
the elantra has 190,000 on it, but second trans. my tiburon has 160,000 but also with swapped trans.
personally, in BOTH cases, i think the shift solenoids broke and my mechanics screwed me by replacing the whole transmissions.

Thanks V. I just hit 211K on the clock. Car still has the original motor, transmission, paint job, and interior. The only things I have ever had to change were a couple of wheel bearings, the clutch, and the regular maintenance stuff like timing belts, fluids, brakes, etc. The car doesnt blow any smoke, doesnt eat oil, and still works as if it were brand new. Looks like its brand new too. When I tell people how old it is and how many miles are on it they cant believe that a Hyundai can actually last that long if you take care of it and dont beat it to death.

My RD2 has 143k on the clock right now. It does have a few small issues, but I blame most of them on the previous owner rear ending a mack truck in it. Otherwise it runs solid as can be, no smoke, no oil loss, daily driver, never babied.
