Default Who has the newest Accent with a beta swap?

Most of the guys running a swap are in the 1998 - 2003 year range. Anybody have an 05+ with a swap in it?

you wont really see newer accent owners dropping in a beta because im pretty sure its alot easier to do it with the older ones. i dont even think the motor mounts of a beta will align up with where the newer engines are bolted in. too much work to do it. plus if you have a car thats only a couple of years old why void the warranty by taking the engine out for something else?

Yeah it really makes no sense to tear the engine out of your car if the car is still brand new or has really low miles on it. Beta swaps are usually saved for accents that are high mileage and are ready to make the swap for alot more power.

I think the main reason is that MC owners are all a bit 'martini with a twist'. They're a bit light in their loafers. Do a bit of uphill gardening from time to time. Y'know, they like their toast done on three sides.

Guess I broke the mold, my Accent was only 3 years old with 55,000 miles when I did the swap, for some reason it voided my warranty. As far as the MC Accent goes I helped a guy with wiring for a 2.0 into the MC Accent about a year ago but he disappeared from this sight. I dont remember what he did mount wise but it was a 2004ish cvvt beta.
