Tibbi  : (24 May 2013 - 09:42 PM) damnit majik, that's not the punchline
majik  : (24 May 2013 - 09:16 PM) it was in the local newspaper and it was in a suburb of Nashville. They found the girl 3 hours later, kidnapped by non-custody holding father who is in custody. Not sure if the alert assisted in the capture or not but to me that's irrelevant. City she was taken from is MAX 10 minutes from my house, yet I didn't receive an alert. I've received them from Georgia before a few hours away
Tibbi  : (24 May 2013 - 08:08 PM) Wheel, child molestation is not funny
wheel_of_steel  : (24 May 2013 - 05:49 PM) :naughty:
187sks  : (24 May 2013 - 03:20 PM) It would be fine if the amber alerts were relevant. I get them for things happening in Idaho. It's excessive and unwelcome at 2:30am when 98% of people aren't going to be any help unless the kidnapper is in their bed with them.

Tibbi  : (24 May 2013 - 09:58 AM) They can always make another
majik  : (24 May 2013 - 09:03 AM) ugh. People complaining about Amber Alert on their phone that woke them up at 2:30 am. I'm sorry a child was kidnapped and in danger and you woke out of your slumber for 3 minutes before snoozing resumed.

faithofadragon  : (24 May 2013 - 12:56 AM) <insert obligatory reference comparing pas's "need" for a 5th vehicle and my "want" of an scary black rifle and 500 rounds of ammo>
pas1216  : (24 May 2013 - 12:30 AM) I waited too long to find my project. Funny thing is now I know of 2 other same cars for sale!? WTF!?
pas1216  : (24 May 2013 - 12:11 AM) if it's what you want and you don't think you'll see another one I'd buy it. Offer him $1000
