I'm debating RD1 suspension stuff. I'm more interested in under car stuff like the 4 point bars and sway bars.

Well, like it was mentioned above. Some of the Elantra parts may fit on the RD. But I just need to find one around here to test fit the bars before I start selling them.

Do the front lower bars really make a difference? I'm guessing they make the car a little stiffer and/or rigid? I've seen some pics of front lower bars installed, when bolted up are they lower than the car it-self? (I hope that makes sense! lol)

Any lower bars make a huge difference in how the vehicles handles. We've had nothing but happy customers with they're lower bars. You guessed it, they make the vehicle stiffer and more rigid. The bars are alittle lower than the vehicle but not a huge amount. If your vehicle is lowered alot, I wouldnt recommend getting the lower bars if you have speed bumps in your area.

What would be the price for the rear sway bar for a 2001 Tiburon?

we're still in the process of getting the bars here to figure out shipping by dimensions and weight. once we get that done, we'll get some prices out.

Whenever I've installed a 4 point and a strut tower bar I've seen equal results in the rigidity of the chassis. Especially with the Hyundais of past years that are not as braced you will feel some nice results from it.

Unfortunately, UR doesn't make a strut bar for the RD. They only make the 19mm solid rear sway bar.

Does any company make a strut bar, sway bars or lower bars for the 1st gen?

There is one company that makes quality front and rear strut bars plus the cheapy Ebay strut bar, but no one that makes sways.

Unfortunately there isn't anything made for the 1st generation. Just the 2nd and 3rd.

I've had a few customers come to me about Ebay sellers. Let me say there are a few things everyone needs to know about the Ebay sellers.

1- Any Ebay seller is not an APPROVED dealer for Ultra Racing
2- Ultra Racing is working with Ebay staff on kicking these dealers off of Ebay.
3- We've had instances where the bar purchased off Ebay is actually an imitation.
4- You're looking at 16-25 days before you get it, if you actually do. We are getting in the process of stocking more bars for the Hyundai vehicles.
5- If anything is wrong with the bar, good luck getting any customer service.
6- And of course...you don't get us if you buy on Ebay. NGT strives for the best customer service.

Wow, Quite a bit of interest in the beginning of this thread then it just fell on it's face when parts became available.

Either way, Just got my rear sway bar and 4 point. I'll have an install writeup and review in the next few days...possibly the weekend at the latest.

I explained this to you in the past post when you brought this up. There have been instances that the bars were imitations. Ultra Racing already stated that even if they do happen to be the real bar, they won't accept the warranty if its not from an Authorized Dealer.

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, but i'm not new to the community.
About 2 months ago, I had a road race event, and my brake pads NEEDED to be changed. I contacts NGT and he had a set of pads AT MY DOOR 5 days after I sent him the payment. EBC yellowstuff.
He also has come through for me MULTIPLE times.
I've ordered 3 things from him within the last 2 months, and I don't plan on going through anyone else. He is a great person, his communication is absolutely fantastic, and most of all, he's very fair with his prices.
Just an FYI, I don't stand behind people I do not believe in.

Now, I've contacted ultraracing before I met even, they quoted me a price higher than what i found on ebay, after doing a little bit more digging, i found out that the parts are coming from overseas, and the shipping time could take as much as 2 months. Not only that, but I've found out that these aren't legitimate UR products. They seem phony.
Just my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt if you wish.
