Default Cabin filter?

Does anyone know if the 03's have an incabin air filter? My car is getting close to 55K miles on it and I've never changed the filter if it does have one. Would like to do this as part of my upcoming routine tune up maintenance.

Pretty sure your car does. If you open the glove box, you should see an access panel that has the filter in it. Do you still have the manual for the car? It should say in there what size and stuff it is, to change it out to.

If I remember right there is a place for a filter, but no filter installed from the factory. You can install one if you like though. I think the dealer can order them.

You should change it every 15k miles. It's there for air quality, but if you don't change it, it obstructs airflow. During the summer, this causes you to run your a/c harder than you would otherwise and burns more gas because the compressor stays on longer. To save money, I buy filters in multi-packs on eBay or Amazon.
